About the Role

Marble is partnering with a well-established and growing electrical contractor to recruit an experienced Electrical Foreman for an ongoing opportunity, initially leading the delivery of a 12-month commercial electrical upgrade project in Melbourne's CBD.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior electrician looking to step into a leadership role, or an experienced Foreman seeking long-term stability with a contractor that has a strong pipeline of secured work. The role offers a great balance of on and off the tools responsibilities, combining site leadership with hands-on electrical work to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise electrical crews across commercial upgrade projects
• Coordinate daily site activities and manage project delivery from start to finish
• Balance site management responsibilities with hands-on electrical work where required
• Manage subcontractors, labour allocation and project resources
• Monitor project budgets, schedules and programme milestones
• Ensure all works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and project requirements
• Liaise with builders, consultants, clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Maintain project documentation, reporting and quality assurance processes
• Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all WHS requirements
• Identify and resolve project issues to maintain programme and quality outcomes

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Minimum 10 years' experience as an A-Grade Electrician within the commercial construction sector
• Proven experience as a Project Manager, Site Manager, Senior Foreman, Leading Hand or similar leadership position
• Strong background delivering commercial electrical upgrade projects
• Comfortable balancing project management, site leadership and hands-on electrical work
• Experience managing site teams, subcontractors, budgets, programmes and project documentation
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications and scopes of work
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
• High standard of safety awareness, workmanship and accountability
• Confidence liaising with builders, consultants, clients, suppliers and internal teams
• A proactive, reliable attitude with the ability to take ownership of project outcomes
• Willingness to work overtime when required to meet project deadlines
