Evergreen Walls is an established Australian business specialising in artificial greenery, green walls, artificial plants, planter solutions and commercial greenery fit-outs.
We work with builders, architects, interior designers, landscapers, shopping centres, clubs, hospitality venues, offices, schools, retail spaces and commercial clients across Australia. Our projects range from simple product supply through to full commercial fit-out solutions involving artificial plants, pots, planters, hanging greenery, ceiling greenery, UV-stable outdoor greenery and custom installations.
We are a small but established business, with a Sydney HQ, a strong brand, national reach and plenty of untapped opportunities. This role has been created because there is significant value in our inbound enquiries, past customers, existing database and broader commercial pipeline.
The role
You will manage and grow Evergreen Walls' national sales pipeline outside of major key accounts. This is not an order-taking role. It is a hands-on business development and account management role for someone who can qualify, prioritise, follow up and convert opportunities into revenue.
- Manage inbound sales enquiries from commercial, trade and project-based customers.
- Work through our existing database of past customers, old quotes, dormant contacts and warm opportunities.
- Build relationships with builders, landscapers, designers, architects, fitout companies, venues and commercial clients.
- Use AI to help streamline your activity and help make design proposals
- Follow up quotes and proposals with structure, persistence and professionalism.
- Gather project details, photos, measurements, drawings and scope information so our team can quote accurately.
- Travel regularly to Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sydney and other project locations for meetings, site visits and growth opportunities.

- You will build a broad network across commercial interiors, construction, landscaping, hospitality, clubs, retail and trade channels.
- You will have a genuine pathway to a senior national sales or commercial growth position if you perform and the fit is right.
Your value
You do not need artificial greenery experience. You do need strong sales discipline, clear communication, and the ability to manage a broad pipeline without micromanagement.
- You may come from business development, account management, trade sales, specification sales, territory management or commercial sales.
- You are confident on the phone, comfortable meeting clients face-to-face and strong at written follow-up.
- You know how to separate genuine opportunities from time-wasters and prioritise your week accordingly.
- You are comfortable using a CRM and understand that clean notes, tasks and next steps help deals move forward.
- You can work with builders, designers, landscapers, business owners and commercial clients in a practical, down-to-earth way.
- You are resilient, organised and motivated by ownership, improvement and measurable results.

- You enjoy building relationships and are happy to pick up the phone rather than hiding behind email.
- You like variety: office-based sales, client calls, CRM work, site visits, travel and face-to-face meetings.

- You understand that some leads are easy, some need nurturing, and some should be disqualified quickly.
- You are positive and practical, but not naive about the persistence required to win commercial work.
- You can help improve systems while still staying focused on activity, conversion and revenue.
