About the Role
Our client is a well-established custom home builder with a strong reputation across Western and South-West Sydney for delivering high-quality, design-driven residential projects. With a growing pipeline of over 150 homes currently underway, they are seeking an experienced Draftsperson to join their collaborative pre-construction team.

Our client is seeking an Estimator to join their team. You will be working mostly across Production Estimating thoguh exposure to Sales Estimating is favourable. Responsible for preparing accurate costings, supporting the sales team with preliminary estimates, and assisting with production estimating to ensure projects run smoothly from design through to construction. Training will be provided on the sales side of estimating for candidates with strong production experience who are looking to broaden their skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review accurate cost estimates for custom homes during both sales and production phases.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain and validate pricing.
• Support the sales team with preliminary budgets and tender pricing.
• Collaborate with designers, site supervisors, and project managers to ensure estimates reflect project requirements.
• Assist with cost tracking and provide input on value engineering options.

About You:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in either Production or Sales Estimating within residential construction (volume custom/architectural homes highly regarded).
• Exposure to or interest in Sales Estimating (training provided).
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work to deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise confidently with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Knowledge of estimating software and industry-standard processes.
