Are you a diesel mechanic looking to broaden your skills and work on a more diverse range of equipment? This is your opportunity to join a well-established, nationally recognised equipment specialist in a permanent workshop role based in Melbourne's west.

The Role

Based permanently in the workshop, you'll be working across a diverse range of forklifts and access equipment - carrying out scheduled servicing, component change outs, fault finding, diagnostics, warranty work, and planned maintenance. You'll be well-supported by an experienced team with technical experts on hand when needed.

Hours & Pay

• Monday to Friday, standard day shift hours
• Competitive hourly rate + super (dependent on experience, with progression over time)
• Regular overtime available before and after standard hours
• 9-day fortnight or monthly RDO available after probation

What We're Looking For

• Trade qualification in a diesel mechanical trade (Heavy Vehicle, Plant, or Mechanical)
• Background in mobile plant or hydraulics highly regarded but not essential
• Some understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems
• Confident diagnosing faults and carrying out quality repairs independently
• A strong work ethic, good attitude, and takes pride in their workmanship
