About the Role

Marble is partnering with a client who is seeking a motivated HVAC Commissioning Technician to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of commercial projects, supporting the commissioning, testing, and optimisation of HVAC systems to ensure they perform safely, efficiently, and in accordance with Australian Standards and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform balancing and commissioning activities on commercial HVAC systems.
• Assist in testing, fault-finding, troubleshooting, and system optimisation.
• Work closely with Senior Commissioning Technicians to deliver commissioning programs and achieve project milestones.
• Ensure all commissioning activities comply with Australian Standards, project specifications, and client requirements.
• Complete commissioning reports, documentation, and progress tracking accurately and on time.
• Maintain strong communication with project teams regarding progress, risks, and technical issues.
• Support quality assurance processes and ensure commissioning works are completed to a high standard.
• Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with SWMS, PPE requirements, and site safety procedures.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.

Skills & Experience

• Experience in HVAC commissioning, air balancing, or mechanical services is preferred.
• Sound knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and commissioning processes.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• High attention to detail with accurate documentation skills.
• Current driver's licence.
• Construction White Card.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a project team.
