Senior Mechanical Estimator - Tier 1 HVAC Contractor (Major Projects)
A leading Tier 1 HVAC contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Estimator to join their high-performing team. This is an opportunity to step into a pivotal role within a business delivering some of the most complex and high-profile mechanical services projects in the market.
The company operates heavily in the tier one commercial and infrastructure space, with projects spanning hospitals, data centres, and critical infrastructure.
The Role
You will join an established team of estimators, bringing senior-level experience to take ownership of key tenders and assist in leading major project submissions. You'll be trusted to interpret complex mechanical designs, develop accurate cost plans, and provide strategic input during bid development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and prepare detailed mechanical services estimates on large-scale projects
- Take ownership of key tender submissions and complex bid packages
- Work collaboratively within an established estimating team
- Interpret mechanical drawings and specifications
- Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing
- Provide mentorship and support to junior estimators where required
About You
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator within HVAC services
- Confident using Bluebeam
- Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail
