This is a developmental role designed for a professional "off the tools" who possesses deep building knowledge and is ready to apply those practical skills to project coordination, administration, and delivery.

The Opportunity

Working closely with our Senior Project Managers, you will be mentored through the end-to-end project lifecycle. You will gain exposure to a diverse range of high-compliance and fast-paced environments, ensuring no two weeks are the same.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with site establishment, procurement, and the development of project schedules.

• Managing subcontractors on-site, ensuring works align with design intent and quality standards.

• Navigating the specific regulatory requirements of the Education, Government, and Child Care sectors.

• Learning the fundamentals of cost control, including variations, progress claims, and budget tracking.

• Acting as a professional point of contact for clients, architects, and consultants.

About You

We are looking for a candidate who understands the "how" of building and is now focused on the "why" and "when" of project management.

• A trade qualification (e.g., Carpentry, Shopfitting) or significant on-site experience is essential.

• ou understand construction sequences, services coordination, and the importance of high-end finishes.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to represent the company professionally to clients.

• Proficiency in (or a strong desire to learn) project management software and the Microsoft Office suite.

• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a genuine commitment to transitioning into a long-term management career.
