Relocate or DIDO

This opportunity suits both local candidates and those considering a move to regional Victoria for a more balanced lifestyle and lower cost of living.

• Residential role based near a regional town of 7,000+ people
• Marble will provide accommodation for up to 6 months for candidates relocating with the intention of settling locally

The Role

Reporting to the maintenance supervisor on your crew you will enjoy working in a close knit team of mobile plant maintenance trades people and be responsible for the following duties;-

• Workshop - servicing, preventative maintenance, scheduled maintenance, major component change outs, general repairs, fault finding & diagnostics
• Field (when competent) - breakdowns, fault finding, diagnostics
• Machinery - UG mining trucks, boggers, drills, IT's, charge up equipment, spraymechs

The roster

• 7 days on 7 days off, 7 nights on 7 days off
• Wednesday to Tuesday roster pattern
• 12 hour shifts

Your Value

You will come from a trade qualification in diesel mechanics or light vehicle mechanics, backed with the following skills and attributes;-

• All round abilities in the workshop working on diesel machinery
• A keen eagerness to learn and forward your skills in the mining sector
• Ability to work in a team and autonomously
• An excellent attitude towards work
• Safety first mentality

This is a great opportunity for someone with diesel qualifications or 2-3 years post trade experience working on diesel equipment (coming from a light vehicle background). Benefits include;-
