About the Company

Our client is an Australian owned and operated Estimating company providing services to residential and commercial builders and trade services across Australia, New Zealand and the UK.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for leading a small team of estimators, will oversee and manage the workflow and quality across your team. You will be the primary point of contact for the client, ensuring all estimating outputs are accurate, commercially aligned, and delivered on time

Duties

• Client ownership and relationship management; acting as the single point of contact for clients, maintain a deep understanding of the clients pricing, suppliers, margins and workflow, and provide commercial input and recommendations
• Estimating oversight and technical delivery; oversee all estimating and quoting, review outputs to ensure accuracy, and ensure estimates reflect the clients rates and methodologies
• Team leadership and workflow management; manage a small team of estimators, allocate and prioritise workload, review and sign-off on key estimates prior to delivery, and provide guidance and mentoring to the team
• Delivery and performance management; ensure all work is delivered within the agreed time frames, maintain consistency across pricing, reporting and documentation, manage pipelines and workload

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years construction estimating experience, ideally across sales estimating or tendering
• Diploma in Building and Construction or trade background will be highly favourable
• Prior experience using estimating software and systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
