Mechanical Estimating Manager & Senior Estimator | Sydney

Are you ready to price and lead some of Sydney's most significant Tier 1 construction projects?

I am seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimating Manager to join a major client of mine who operate in high-performing teams, delivering major hospital, data centre and commercial developments valued at $50M+ Mechanical / HVAC Value

Location: Sydney

HVAC Values: $20M - $100M with total build values being over $1bn
Sector: Tier 1 Healthcare, Data Centres & Large-Scale Commercial

The Role:
You'll take ownership of the full estimating function across complex mechanical packages HVAC, hydraulic coordination and major plant installations. Working closely with pre-construction, project delivery and executive leadership, you'll drive competitive, accurate and strategic tenders on landmark builds across Sydney.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead end-to-end mechanical estimating on major Tier 1 projects
* Manage and mentor estimating teams
* Review drawings, specifications and subcontractor pricing
* Develop detailed BOQs and cost plans
* Engage with clients, consultants and suppliers
* Identify value engineering opportunities
* Contribute to tender strategy and risk analysis

What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience estimating mechanical packages on $30M+ projects
* Strong knowledge of healthcare and commercial construction
* Tier 1 or large Tier 2 contractor background preferred
* Leadership capability with strong commercial acumen
* Proficiency in estimating software and advanced Excel skills
