Our client is a leading well-established volume residential builder, operating for over 40 years across NSW and ACT. They deliver a diverse range of projects across Sydney, including knockdown rebuilds, medium density, house and land, custom homes, and display homes.

With a strong pipeline and a focus on quality delivery, they continue to invest in their pre-construction and estimating teams to support ongoing growth.

About the Role

They are seeking a Senior Production Estimator to join a high-performing estimating team.

Reporting to the Production Estimating Team Leader, you will take ownership of complex projects, ensuring accurate costings, detailed BOQs, and seamless handover to construction.

You will play a key role in managing the full production estimating process, from reviewing documentation through to issuing purchase orders, while also supporting continuous improvement across systems and master BOQs.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end production estimating for complex residential projects (KDR, custom, multi-dwelling, display homes)
• Prepare detailed take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
• Issue pricing requests to suppliers and subcontractors
• Review plans, specifications, and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Prepare and issue purchase orders in line with budgets and company procedures
• Conduct peer reviews of estimates and ensure quality control
• Monitor budgets and provide commentary on discrepancies
• Support database management, templates, and system improvements
• Liaise with internal teams across design, drafting, construction, and customer care

About You

• Proven experience as a Production Estimator within residential construction
• Strong knowledge across KDR, custom homes, and multi-dwelling projects
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• High level of attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Relevant qualification in Building & Construction (Cert IV or higher preferred)
• Solid understanding of the Building Code and industry regulations
