About the Company

Our client is an Australian owned and operated building certification business with over 25+ years industry experience delivering residential, commercial (class 2-9) and retail services across Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia. Operating since 2000, they are one of the only businesses in the Surveying space with a national presence.

About the Role

As the NSW State Manager you will be responsible for leading and driving growth for their the NSW Division. The role will largely focus on delivering compliant building certification services, driving strategic growth and overseeing the operational performance of the NSW state team in addition to performing standard certifier functions.

• Workflow and operations
• Technical leadership
• Strategic client liaison and management
• Overseeing fee structures and commercial strategy

Skills & Experience

• Current NSW Unrestricted Building Certifier registration (A1) without conditions under the Building and Development Certifiers Act 2018
• Extensive experience acting as a Principal Certifier on complex residential, commercial and mixed-use developments
• Demonstrated knowledge and expertise across the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act and the NCC
• Tertiary qualifications in Building Surveying or a related field
• A team player who is willing to support and lead your staff and management team directly under you
• A professional approach with the ability to problem solve and troubleshoot

Benefits

• Base salary of $250K plus superannuation plus discretionary bonuses and a company car with all associated expenses covered (total package will be north of $300K)
