Marble has partnered with a growing civil contractor based on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a capable Civil Engineer to support delivery of drainage, utilities and rail infrastructure packages. You'll work alongside an established crew of plumbers, pipelayers and operators delivering essential water and structural infrastructure across a secured pipeline of local projects.

The Opportunity

You will coordinate site engineering functions, manage subcontractors, and ensure programme, cost, and quality objectives are met. Experience liaising with water authorities will be highly valued to maintain smooth approvals and compliance on projects.

Project Scope

Delivery of:

• Watermain installations

• Sewer pump stations

• Stormwater drainage networks

• Culverts and precast concrete structures

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily site engineering activities across drainage and rail packages

• Manage subcontractors delivering pipelines, pump stations, and structural works

• Drive programme performance and maintain critical path milestones

• Monitor plant, labour, and materials to ensure productivity and cost control

• Oversee QA systems including ITPs, inspections, hold points, and compliance documentation

• Prepare cost forecasts, progress reports, and support commercial performance

• Maintain strong working relationships with water authorities, clients, and key stakeholders

• Promote strong site safety standards aligned with statutory and company systems

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil)

• Proven experience delivering civil infrastructure projects (utilities, drainage, structural works preferred)

• Demonstrated experience working with water authorities and local councils

• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, contract administration, and Australian Standards

• Ability to manage multiple work fronts and competing priorities

• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Project (programme tracking and reporting)

• Strong leadership capability with high attention to detail and quality focus
