Hours and roster

You will enjoy taking on a role that will offer changing working hours per week, offing work life balance across different shift patterns.

  • Rosters hours, in weekly blocks are
  • 6.30am-2.36pm/ 7.30am-3.36pm/ 8.00am-4.06pm/ 8.30am-4.36pm/ 10.54am-7.00pm
  • 2X 10-minute breaks paid for, 30-minute lunch break unpaid
  • Work from home 2 days per week on Monday and Friday (after your 15-week training program)

The role

Reporting into your Customer Service Supervisor and working in a close-knit team of 9, you will enjoy taking on a busy inbound customer service sales support role. Your day will involve responding to enquires from existing and new customers with activity ranging from new sales to existing orders and returns.

  • Providing customer service to an allocated primary and secondary customer base, and build and maintain a strong rapport.
  • Provide customer service via inbound/outbound calls and via email.
  • Maintain records via Salesforce CRM (Customer Relation Management system).
  • Provide quotations for the supply of parts and assist with processing a high volume of customer orders while, working within various E-commerce systems to handle EDI transactions between Sandvik and the customers.
  • Review, coordinate and follow up with our supply chain network on outstanding back orders and review and monitor suspended customer orders daily.
  • Maintain working knowledge of products and their functions for your respective customer groups.
  • Investigate and resolve delivery and order related inaccuracies.
  • Provide technical assistance to customers or refer customers with queries to the Parts and Service Sales Representatives or Technical Support Team.
  • Meet set KPI's surrounding customer service and business requirements.

Your value

You will come from a strong background in a customer service sales role with a minimum of 2 years recent experience in a similar position. You will also have the following skills and experience;-

  • Skilled in all Microsoft Suite
  • Demonstrated ability to compose well-written and courteous emails
  • Excellent phone mannerism with the ability to build strong business relationships with customers
  • Demonstrated strong organisational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated excellent customer relations and active listening skills
  • Passion for delivering excellent customer service
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to work remotely and in an office setting
  • Demonstrated ability to make timely, effective decisions while having the ability to work under pressure
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and be a team player
