The Role & Responsibilities
Work within a dedicated heavy equipment trades team, responsible for delivering high-quality finishes painting and finishes across a variety of machinery used in construction & earthmoving. Duties will include:
- Preparing, priming and refinishing heavy plant and associated components
- Applying protective and cosmetic coatings to machinery and attachments
- Completing minor repairs and surface rectification prior to painting
- Managing paint booth operations and ensuring correct setup and curing
- Maintaining equipment and ensuring tools are kept in optimal condition
- Working to production schedules while maintaining high-quality standards
- This is a hands-on workshop role suited to someone who takes pride in presentation and consistency.

The Branch & Hours
This is a residential workshop-based role in Brisbane - no FIFO required.
- 5 day week Mon to Fri structure available
- Early start, early finish schedule (hours are semi flexible)
- Optional overtime and weekend work available
- Strong earning potential while remaining local
Your Skills & Experience
We are seeking a trade-qualified painter (heavy vehicle or industrial preferred) or an experienced heavy equipment spray painter who is confident working independently within a workshop environment. You will ideally have:
- Trade qualification (or equivalent experience)
- Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience with construction, mining, or heavy transport equipment
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to manage your own workload
- A long-term mindset and team-focused attitude
