Hours and roster
You will enjoy a wide range of flexibility in this role and working in a fully supportive team that work together to ensure the work is complete to a high level.

- Approximately 24 hours per week
The role
Reporting into the Payroll Supervisor you'll enjoy working closely with a team of 9. Duties and responsibilities in the role will include;-
- End to end processing of fortnightly and monthly payrolls.
- Maintain and update payroll master data (as advised via PIR).
- Liaise with employees and managers to resolve payroll related queries.
- Perform payroll administration tasks, including onboarding new starters and processing leave forms.
- Calculate and process termination payments.
- Process salary increases and calculates back pay adjustments.
- Complete required payroll reporting, both routine and ad hoc.
- Calculate annual leave and long service leave provisions and accruals.
- Review payroll reports and resolve discrepancies to ensure accuracy prior to releasing bank files.
- Interpret awards and enterprise agreements, including overtime and allowances.
- Perform redundancy calculations.
- Respond promptly to a wide range of payroll enquiries from employees and the business.
Your value
You will come from a background working in an Payroll Officer role working for a medium to large scale business. You will also showcase the following attributes;-
- 2+ recent years in a Payroll Officer role
- Demonstrated business maturity and professional judgement
- Strong computer literacy with the ability to learn new systems quickly
- High attention to detail with a strong process driven approach
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word
- Well -developed interpersonal skills with the ability to engage employees at all levels
- Ability to interpret legislation and Australian workplace agreements confidently
- Excellent organisational, communication, and planning capabilities
- Strong computer literacy with the ability to learn new systems
