The Leadership

You will report directly to a General Manager who is widely regarded as a true industry leader-a professional known not just for their technical brilliance, but for their integrity, mentorship, and "lead-from-the-front" style. You will have the autonomy to run your projects while having a world-class sounding board at your disposal.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Delivery: Lead the end-to-end execution of major water projects, including large-diameter pipelines and complex pump station builds.

• Financial Control: Full P&L responsibility, ensuring projects remain profitable through smart procurement and resource management.

• Relationship Management: Manage the long-term relationship with the Water Authority, ensuring our reputation for excellence is maintained.

• Site Leadership: Work closely with Site Managers and Engineers to ensure "Safety First" isn't just a slogan, but a daily practice.

About You

• Experienced: You have a proven track record as a Project Manager in Civil or Water infrastructure (Victoria-based experience is highly regarded).

• Technically Minded: You understand the nuances of water infrastructure.

• Leadership Style: You believe in building people up, not just hitting targets. You are a clear communicator who can manage both the client and the crew on-site.

• Qualifications: A degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is essential.
