Seeking a specialist Project Manager who understands the nuances of the fitout and refurbishment sector
We are working with one of Melbourne's premier commercial fitout and refurbishment contractors, known for delivering sophisticated, high-quality spaces. Due to a strong pipeline of upcoming work they are looking for a high-caliber Project Manager to lead complex fitout projects from inception to completion.
The role will see you delivering high-quality fitout and refurbishment projects across the office, health, education, and retail sectors.
Your New Role
As a Project Manager, you will take full ownership of the project lifecycle. You aren't just managing a site; you are driving the delivery of premium environments for high-profile clients.
Lead projects from pre-construction and value engineering through to final handover.
Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
Overhaul budgets, manage contracts, and lead subcontractor negotiations to ensure project profitability.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and consultants, ensuring vision and execution align perfectly.
Maintain our industry-leading safety standards and ensure all building codes and quality benchmarks are exceeded.
We are looking for a specialist who understands the nuances of the fitout and refurbishment sector.
At least 3+ years as a PM/Senior PM specifically within commercial fitout or refurbishment.
Deep understanding of the fast-tracked nature of interior construction.
dvanced skills in Procore, Jobpac, and MS Project.
A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
You are a natural leader and a strategic problem solver who remains calm under the pressure of tight deadlines.
