Marble Recruitment is currently partnering with an established electrical contractor looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their growing Melbourne team.
With a strong presence across the commercial electrical sector and a solid pipeline of upcoming projects, this business has built a reputation for delivering quality work and maintaining long-standing relationships with clients.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager looking to take ownership of projects, work alongside a supportive leadership team and play a key role in the continued growth of the business.
As an Electrical Project Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of commercial electrical projects from initial planning through to completion.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing electrical projects from commencement through to commissioning and handover.
Overseeing project budgets, forecasting, procurement and financial performance.
Coordinating site teams, supervisors, subcontractors and suppliers.
Managing project programmes, resources and key delivery milestones.
Building strong relationships with builders, clients, consultants and other stakeholders.
Identifying and managing variations, project risks and contractual requirements.
Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
Providing regular progress updates to senior management.
To be successful in this role, you'll ideally bring:
Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager within commercial electrical contracting.
A strong understanding of electrical installations and construction methodologies.
Experience managing projects from tender handover through to completion.
Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, variations and procurement.
The ability to coordinate site teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
An electrical trade background or relevant tertiary qualification will be highly regarded.
