Underground Sandvik Drill Fitter | $85-$93ph | 2:2 Roster Dayshift Only | Gold Mine
About the Role
Join a close-knit crew on a growing underground gold operation. This site has recently reopened and is set for major growth, with a brand-new workshop and camp built to match. You'll be working across a mixed fleet of Sandvik drill rigs (2x DD422i Jumbo, 1x DL432i Longhole), split between workshop and field, with a workshop focus.
Roster & Pay
- $85 - $93 per hour
- 2:2 roster (2 weeks on, 2 weeks off)
- Perm dayshift
- FIFO ex-Perth, Wednesday fly days
- $3K sign-on bonus
Duties
- PM work & scheduled maintenance
- Component change outs & general repairs
- Servicing & breakdowns
- Fault finding, diagnostics & problem solving
- Field service on drill breakdowns & maintenance
About You
- Trade qualified diesel mechanic (or LV trade + relevant exp)
- Strong mechanical knowledge, some electrical systems exposure
- Able to read schematics and drawings
- Able to work autonomously with a can-do attitude
- Dual trade (diesel fitter/auto elec) highly regarded
- UG hard rock or drill servicing experience advantageous
- Australian Citizenship or PR required
