• Secure a FIFO role on an 8:6 roster - day shift only, Tuesday to Tuesday

The opportunity
A great opportunity exists to join a highly regarded busy underground principal mining company in the Central QLD region.

• FIFO from Brisbane or Maroochydore
• Attractive 8:6 roster - days only, Tuesday to Tuesday, FIFO in company time
• Challenging role where your skills will develop on new equipment
• Full camp set up with meals and accommodation supplied - currently undergoing a full "beautification" program, with rooms being rebuilt and refreshed

Duties of the role
You will enjoy working in a role that will further develop your skills and experience on modern UG mining equipment

• Workshop and field duties - maintenance and repair on UG mining machinery
• Work in a close-knit team of experienced tradespeople
• Reporting into the maintenance leading hand/supervisor
• Machinery brands - CAT, Sandvik (new equipment), Normet, Epiroc
• Machines - drills, boggers, trucks, charge up, IT's
• Leaky feeder and HV switching exposure - RCT (Remote Tech) experience highly regarded

Your value and experience

• Trade qualified Auto Electrician
• Experience working on UG hard rock mining equipment
• Minimum 1 year experience in an underground mine environment
• Ability to work well in a team and unsupervised
• Strong safety values
