The Mine Site
Based at a large underground hard rock mining operation in Central NSW, you'll join a modern production team working within one of Australia's most established underground environments.

The Role
Working as part of the production crew, you'll operate modern Sandvik DS422i Cablebolters while working alongside experienced underground operators and ground support teams. Responsibilities include:
- Operate Sandvik DS422i Cablebolters installing cable bolts and underground ground support.
- Complete pre-start inspections and basic equipment servicing.
- Install ground support in accordance with mine plans and procedures.
- Work safely alongside production, maintenance and underground crews.
- Complete daily documentation while maintaining high safety standards.
Your Skills & Experience
We're looking for experienced underground Cablebolt Operators who enjoy working in a production environment and have a strong commitment to safety. You will have:
- Previous experience operating underground Cablebolters.
- Experience on Sandvik DS422i units highly regarded.
- Strong underground hard rock mining background.
- Excellent attitude, reliability and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work effectively within a production team.
Contract & Salary
- $65ph - $70ph + Super (flat rate).
- 7:7 roster (days & nights).
- 12-hour shifts.
- 5 weeks annual leave and 10 days personal leave accrued.
- Motel-style camp accommodation, buffet meals and shuttle bus provided for DIDO/FIFO employees.
- 88c/km travel allowance available for eligible DIDO travel.
- Relocation assistance available for those wishing to make the move to Central NSW.
Tickets & Licences
Along with prior experience working as a cablebolt operator, you will need:
- Current Manual Driver's Licence.
- Previous underground Cablebolt operating experience.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical.
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Working at Heights ticket (or willingness to obtain before commencing).
- Certificate IV Underground Metalliferous Mining. (advantageous, not essential)
- First Aid & CPR. (advantageous, not essential)
