The Role

You will work as part of a close-knit underground production team across day-to-day charging and underground production activities. Your duties will include:

• Charging development and production faces using emulsion explosives
• Working closely alongside jumbo and long-hole operators
• Managing underground explosive stock control
• Supporting safe and efficient underground production targets
• Working within a team-focused environment underground
• Maintaining high safety and compliance standards at all times

Camp & Roster

This camp is close site so no long journeys before or after work as well as a good range of amenities and a social, community environment.

• Single donga rooms with a renovated well-equipped gym on site
• Pool and football facilities for downtime between shifts
• Wet and dry mess - resident chefs, decent food, plenty of themed nights
• Telstra 4G and Wi-Fi to stay in touch with home

Your Skills & Experience

Candidates with recent underground hard rock charge-up experience will be highly regarded for this position. To be successful, you will also have:

• Previous underground hard rock development and/or production charging experience
• Current QLD Underground Explosives Security Clearance (QESC)
• Experience working with emulsion-based explosives underground
• Strong attitude towards safety and underground procedures
• Ability to work well within a crew while also working autonomously when required
