About the Role
This is a permanent, Monday to Friday role (7:30am - 4:00pm) where no two days are the same. As the key point of contact between customers, the Service Supervisor and the workshop team, you'll be responsible for booking in earthmoving equipment for maintenance and repairs, coordinating scheduling, and keeping work flowing efficiently through the workshop.
This is a customer service and scheduling role - not a technical one - so no mechanical background is required. Full training will be provided on all systems and processes.
What You'll Be Doing
- Serving as the first point of contact for customers booking maintenance and repair appointments
- Liaising with the Service supervisor and technicians to coordinate scheduling and workflow
- Managing a busy, shifting workload with competing priorities throughout the day
- Using phone and computer-based systems to manage bookings, records and customer communications
- Following up with customers and keeping them updated throughout the service process
What We're Looking For
- A strong customer service background - experience in the automotive, dealership or equipment industry is highly regarded
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organised with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working with phone and computer-based systems daily
- Reliable, punctual and a genuine team player
