About the Opportunity

We are currently working with a well-established HVAC contractor seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join their growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on modern commercial facilities, including newly constructed buildings, with a focus on delivering high-quality maintenance, fault-finding, and repair services.

Unlike traditional service roles that require extensive travel, this position is based across two static commercial sites, providing consistency, stability, and the opportunity to develop strong relationships with site stakeholders while maintaining critical building services infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on commercial HVAC systems.
• Diagnose and rectify faults across a range of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment.
• Service and maintain air handling units (AHUs), fan coil units (FCUs), split systems, package units, VRV/VRF systems, and associated plant.
• Conduct system inspections to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
• Respond to reactive maintenance and breakdown calls within the assigned sites.
• Perform testing, commissioning support, and system adjustments where required.
• Complete service reports, maintenance records, and compliance documentation using company-provided technology.
• Liaise professionally with facility managers, contractors, and site personnel.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with relevant safety standards, regulations, and company procedures.
• Identify opportunities for system improvements and recommend corrective actions.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as an HVAC Service Technician within commercial environments.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience working on large-scale commercial buildings and modern HVAC systems.
• Relevant trade qualifications and licences.
• Ability to work independently and manage maintenance schedules effectively.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety standards.
