Project Engineer

An opportunity exists for a capable Civil Project Engineer to join a growing team and support the delivery of civil construction projects.

This role offers involvement across the full project lifecycle, from planning through to completion. Working closely with site-based teams, you will assist in coordinating project activities, managing subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

The position will suit an engineer who is practical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced site environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project documentation and develop practical, cost-effective engineering solutions
• Provide technical support to Supervisors and site personnel
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination of resources
• Monitor progress against program and support cost control measures
• Promote and uphold safe work practices in line with WHS requirements
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and project requirements

Skills & Experience

• Experience in a Project Engineer role within civil construction
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or similar
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work to deadlines and manage competing priorities
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach
