Project Manager | Fire Protection | Sydney

We're on the lookout for an experienced Project Manager within the Fire Protection space who knows how to run jobs properly, build relationships and keep projects moving.

This opportunity is with a well-regarded contractor in Sydney with a strong pipeline of commercial projects across new builds, fit outs, upgrades and compliance works. They've built a solid reputation in the market and continue to grow through repeat business and quality delivery.

This role would suit someone who enjoys owning projects from start to finish, staying close to clients and subcontractors, and being backed by a business that actually supports its team.

Day to day duties:

• Managing fire protection projects from tender through to handover
• Overseeing budgets, forecasting and variations
• Programming and coordinating labour / subcontractors
• Client management and stakeholder communication
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time and to standard
• Managing compliance, documentation and handover processes
• Working closely with internal design, service and delivery teams

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in Fire Protection
• Strong understanding of wet and/or dry fire systems (This role is Wet Fire Focused with Dry Fire input)
• Commercial project delivery experience
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Organised, proactive and solutions focused
• Relevant trade or industry background highly regarded
