Underground Diesel Fitter | FIFO WA | New Project Restart | $80+/hr | 8:6 or 2:2

An exciting opportunity is available for Underground Diesel Fitters to join a gold operation in the Pilbara that is coming back into production after three years offline.

This is a chance to be part of the rebuild and restart of an underground mine, working alongside an experienced team bringing the operation back into production. If you enjoy variety, problem solving and being part of a tight crew working toward a common goal, this role offers something genuinely different.

The Role

You'll be responsible for maintenance and repairs across a varied underground fleet, working across both workshop duties and field service/breakdowns.

Equipment includes:

• Sandvik underground drills, loaders and trucks

• Epiroc underground equipment

• Normet charge-up and support gear

• Elphinstone underground machinery

This mix of equipment provides great technical variety and exposure to multiple OEM platforms.

Roster & Pay

• 8:6 or 2:2 FIFO roster options

• $80/hr+ depending on experience

• Temp-to-perm opportunity

• $3,000 sign-on bonus when transitioning to permanent employment

You'll stay in comfortable, modern accommodation with ensuite rooms and access to great site facilities including:

What We're Looking For

• Trade-qualified Diesel Fitter / Heavy Diesel Mechanic

• Experience working on heavy mobile equipment

• Underground mining experience advantageous but not essential

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and fault-finding skills

• Team player with a good safety attitude
