Our Client
Our client is an established custom home builder with a strong presence in the residential market. Built on the philosophy that homes are made for living, they focus on delivering well designed, functional homes tailored to each client's needs.
They specialise in custom builds , knockdown rebuilds, and house and land packages. With a commitment to fixed price transparency, quality workmanship and consistent communication, they have built a reputation for delivering a premium and reliable client experience.
With steady growth and a structured pre site process, they are now looking to strengthen their team.
The Role
As Customer Service Officer, you will take ownership of clients throughout the pre construction phase, acting as the key point of contact from contract through to site start.
This is a fast paced, detail driven position where communication, organisation and cross departmental coordination are critical. You will play a key role in ensuring clients feel informed, supported and confident at every stage of their journey.
Responsibilities
* Provide clear and consistent communication to clients throughout pre site
* Ensure all titled jobs receive weekly updates
* Prepare and issue building contracts including MBAV contracts
* Conduct contract signings in person or via DocuSign
* Prepare and manage client variations and clarifications
* Coordinate and host client meetings
* Maintain accurate job records and log all communications
* Liaise with Estimating, Drafting, Construction and Operations teams
* Review plans against approved variations to ensure accuracy
* Liaise with local councils and land developers regarding approvals
* Attend weekly meetings and report on progress and KPIs
Requirements
* Previous experience in residential construction administration, CSO or pre site role
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* High attention to detail and documentation accuracy
* Ability to manage multiple files and meet deadlines
* Strong systems and computer literacy
* Collaborative approach and ability to work across departments
* Proactive, solution focused mindset with strong emotional intelligence
