Experienced Commercial Project Manager (5+ yrs) needed for Melbourne builder delivering retail, childcare & government projects.
We are currently partnering with a well-established, privately owned Melbourne builder to appoint an experienced Project Manager.
Our client is a registered commercial and domestic builder and a member of the Master Builders Association, delivering projects across Commercial, Retail, Childcare, Government and Fitout sectors. With a strong reputation for quality workmanship, professionalism and relationship-driven delivery, they provide a personalised service from concept through to completion.
Reporting to senior leadership, you will take ownership of projects from pre-construction through to handover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities include:
End-to-end project management
Budget control, cost forecasting and financial reporting
Contract administration, variations and progress claims
Consultant, subcontractor and stakeholder coordination
Client relationship management
Programme management and compliance oversight
Minimum 5+ years' commercial project management experience is essential
Proven delivery of commercial construction projects in Melbourne
Experience across commercial, retail, childcare, government or fitout sectors
Strong commercial acumen and contract administration capability
Professional, solutions-focused and relationship-driven
