Our client is seeking a pool service technician to join the growing Service Team in a full-time permanent role servicing the Greater Melbourne area.
As a Service Technician, you will undertake maintenance, repair, troubleshooting and commissioning work across commercial pools and aquatic centres. This is a hands-on, technically engaging role suited to someone with a trade background and experience in pool systems, pumps, or water treatment.
With 9 active construction projects and 70+ maintenance contracts, the pipeline is strong - offering stability, variety, and long-term career growth.
Complete scheduled maintenance of mechanical pool operations
Attend reactive and breakdown maintenance
Assist with filtration system replacements and plant room upgrades
Water testing, chemical balancing & calibration
Participate in commercial pool commissioning
Maintain accurate service records (iPad-based reporting)
Desirable (but not essential):
Trade Certificate in Plumbing / Electrical / Mechanical
Highly regarded experience in:
Commercial pool systems
Pumps and hydraulics
Wastewater or chemical treatment
Plant rooms and filtration systems
You will also need:
Ability to work autonomously
Strong Microsoft Office skills & confidence using an iPad
Current Driver's Licence
Current Police Clearance & Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
Flexibility to work on regional sites when required
Willingness to participate in a rotating on-call roster (1 week in 5, with allowances provided)
