Overview:

We're seeking a skilled Longhole Driller to become an integral part of our team, operating state-of-the-art Sandvik Drill Rigs. Step into a role where your abilities directly support efficient production and ensure drilling and blasting operations are optimized. With competitive pay rates up to $1000 per day plus Super, and FIFO from Perth, this temporary-to-permanent opportunity promises not only a rewarding work-life balance but also the chance to thrive in a supportive, high-performing environment.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in operating Sandvik Drill Rigs and understanding of drilling and blasting preparation.
• Minimum of 6-12 months underground production drilling experience.
• Strong collaboration skills with an emphasis on safety and productivity.
• Capacity to conduct routine equipment checks and address maintenance needs promptly.
• Excellent compliance with safety and site regulations.
• Valid Australian Manual Driver's License.
• Legal right to work in Australia.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with advanced drilling technologies and techniques.
• Familiarity with diverse drilling equipment beyond Sandvik Drill Rigs.
• Additional certification in mining safety or related fields.
• Experience working within FIFO rosters or remote site conditions.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Proven track record within the mining industry, particularly in underground operations.
• Experience in a high-volume production environment, demonstrating problem-solving skills and adaptability.

Other Requirements:

• Candidates residing in Western Australia are preferred due to location logistics.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts and embrace FIFO lifestyle from Perth.
