Overview:

As a Service Crew member, you'll embark on a journey full of hands-on responsibilities that are crucial to keeping our site operations both safe and efficient. From operating Integrated Tool Carriers to installing complex underground services like air, water, and pump lines, you'll be at the heart of our daily operations. With a range of rosters and sites available, this role allows you to tailor your work experience while laying the groundwork for potentially permanent placement on our team. Immerse yourself in a role where your underground skillset is celebrated and essential.

Required Skills:

• Proven underground experience in Service Crew operations.
• Proficient operation of Integrated Tool Carriers and various hand tools.
• Conduct thorough daily operator pre-start checks for vehicles and mobile plants.
• Installation, maintenance, and repairs of a range of underground services, including air/water/pump lines and electrical cables.
• Experience in installing and removing communication equipment in compliance with site policies.
• Ability to safely install grout, plate, and tension cable bolts.
• Demonstrated capacity to construct ventilation walls.
• A track record of safely working in explosive areas.
• Strong ability to train and mentor new personnel on all aspects of Service Crew operations.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Familiarity with site-specific policies and safety regulations.
• Experience with Mono pumps and submersible pumps.
• Competence in using technology for communication and coordination.
• Skills in problem-solving and adapting to dynamic work situations.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Minimum of 18 months of direct underground experience.
• Current and valid Australian Driver's License.

Other Requirements:

• Full working rights in Australia.
• Preferred residency in Western Australia for easier site access.
