The Branch & Hours

This is a residential NT-based role where you'll split your time between supporting the team in the field and keeping things on track at the branch.

  • Monday to Friday roster with flexibility when the job calls for it
  • Roughly 7am to 4pm with OT when required
  • Mix of field support and coordination
  • Regular contact with techs, customers, and management

The Role & Responsibilities

This isn't a desk-only job, you'll be the go-to technical person while helping keep jobs profitable and on schedule.

  • Coordinate the techs to make sure work is done right and on time
  • Oversee major builds, inspections, rental maintenance, and big projects
  • Manage warranty claims and factory reworks properly
  • Jump in to help solve tough breakdowns and technical problems
  • Handle customer issues before they turn into bigger problems
  • Help with scheduling, resourcing, and approving OT
  • Make sure paperwork, timecards, and reports are done properly

Your Skills & Experience

You're a trade-qualified mechanic who knows heavy gear and materials handling machinery, and some prior supervisory experience.

  • Trade qualified as either a light or heavy diesel (and prior experience on materials handling or earthmoving)
  • Strong background in heavy equipment / team leading
  • Comfortable mentoring and guiding other techs
  • Solid communicator who can deal with customers face-to-fact & safety focused and lead by example
  • Able to complete a pre-employment medical
