About the Business
Our client is a large, established project home builder with a strong reputation across the NSW residential market. They operate in a professional, corporate environment while maintaining a supportive, values-driven culture and high standards around presentation and communication. They have offices based in Norwest and Newcastle, however Norwest is the large office of the two. They build around 500 homes across New South Wales which covers Newcastle, Sydney Metro and the South Coast / Wollongong region.

The business delivers a high volume of single and double-storey homes, dual occupancies, and house & land packages, backed by long-standing industry partnerships and structured internal systems.

About the Role

My client is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee projects across the Illawarra and Southwest Sydney regions, covering Wollongong, Nowra, Appin, Gilead and Wilton, with reporting aligned to the Norwest office. This client will also accept candidates with a subcontracting background to residential home builders or experience in renovations/extensions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects from site start through to handover
• Coordinate trades and subcontractors on site
• Check and manage material orders and deliveries
• Drive build programmes and milestone timeframes
• Conduct quality assurance inspections
• Manage and close out defects
• Maintain detailed site diaries and reporting
• Ensure all homes are built to plans and specifications
• Enforce WHS and safety compliance across sites

Requirements

• Certificate III in Carpentry
• Certificate IV in Building & Construction (essential)
• 4+ years' experience as a Site Supervisor with a project home builder or developer and/or subcontracted to a resi builder and/or candidates with rennovation/extensions experience
• Strong NCC & BCA knowledge
• Excellent communication and organisation skills
• Current driver's licence
