A growing construction software provider servicing the residential building sector is seeking a driven National Sales / Business Development Manager to expand market share and win new builder clients across Australia. This is a highly proactive, new-business-focused role suited to a high-energy BDM who thrives on outreach, travel, and performance-based rewards.
About the Role
You will lead national business development efforts, introducing specialised software solutions to residential builders across multiple states. Priority growth markets include WA and SA, plus NSW & QLD. The role is office-based initially (Parramatta, NSW) while building pipeline and booking meetings, followed by regular interstate travel to convert opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business acquisition across the residential builder market nationally
- Conduct proactive outreach and cold calling to generate qualified opportunities
- Build and manage a consistent national sales pipeline
- Present and demonstrate software solutions to builder clients
- Secure new national and regional builder accounts
- Travel interstate regularly to attend meetings and close deals
- Work closely with senior leadership on major builder opportunities
Role Details

- Servicing National Business across NSW, SA, QLD & WA.
- Regular interstate travel required (no more than 3-4 days at a time)

Salary & Commission
- Base salary guide: $90K-$100K + super + monthly bonus structure (OTE $200K)
- Subscription values typically vary from smaller builders to large project home builders and developers.
- Senior management support in meetings with major builder prospects
Ideal Background
Candidates with experience in building supplier sales, construction product sales, or new home sales will be highly regarded, along with any strong B2B new business performers.
