Join a leading Fire Protection contractor expanding its in-house design team across Sydney. With a secured pipeline of commercial, healthcare, industrial and infrastructure projects, this is a genuine opportunity to work on technically strong, compliant, buildable designs & not repetitive drafting work.
Due to continued growth, multiple Fire Designer roles are available across Sydney.
You'll work within an established contractor environment, collaborating closely with Project Managers, Engineers and site teams to deliver full wet and dry fire system designs from concept through to construction.
Clear pathway to Senior and Lead Designer roles as your skill set develops.
Sprinkler design.
Hydrant & hose reel systems.
Fire detection & alarm systems.
Shop drawings & detailed documentation.
Hydraulic calculations.
Coordination with builders & consultants.
Revit modelling.
3-10+ years' experience as a Fire Systems Designer (Must be accredited)
Background with a Fire Protection contractor is essential
Strong knowledge of Australian Standards
Experience across wet & dry systems
Hydraulic calculation capability
AutoCAD/Revit experience is critical
Ability to manage multiple projects
Confident stakeholder communication skills
