Join a long-standing and reputable quarry operator in regional Victoria (30 minutes from Geelong) with a strong footprint in supplying sands, aggregates and materials to the construction, civil and manufacturing sectors.

The role

You'll be stepping into a steady operating role working across the quarry's internal haul network.

Your day will include:

• Operating CAT rigid dump trucks (773 & 775) around the quarry
• Occasional work on CAT 980 & 982 loaders
• Moving material between extraction areas, stockpiles and processing zones
• Working closely with fellow operators, maintenance and management
• A 7.00am start and a 4.30pm finish Monday to Friday + some overtime

Your value

You'll ideally bring experience from quarry, mining, civil or heavy earthmoving environments, along with:

• Confidence operating rigid dump trucks (CAT preferred but not essential)
• Loader experience highly regarded
• Strong communication skills and a team-minded approach
• Good attitude towards safety, housekeeping and following site procedures
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors year-round
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and D&A testing
• Current Victorian driver's licence
