About the Role ⭐
We are seeking a motivated Junior / Intermediate ArchiCAD Draftsperson to join a growing residential construction team.
This role is perfect for someone with a strong eye for detail, a passion for residential design, and experience producing accurate working drawings. You will support the delivery of residential projects by preparing drawings, processing amendments, and managing variations to ensure smooth construction workflow.
Key Responsibilities ????
Produce detailed working drawings using ArchiCAD, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and site plans.
Process amendments, variations, and design changes in line with client and project requirements.
Prepare construction documentation compliant with NCC, Australian Standards, and local council requirements.
Coordinate with builders, designers, and internal teams to resolve drafting queries and ensure accuracy.
Maintain drawing libraries, templates, and documentation standards.
Assist with DA/BA documentation preparation when required.
Support project workflow by prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines.
Skills & Experience ????
1-3 years drafting experience in residential construction.
Competent in ArchiCAD, with the ability to produce accurate working drawings efficiently.
Understanding of residential construction methods, detailing, and documentation requirements.
Ability to read and interpret plans, engineering details, and council requirements.
Strong attention to detail, organisation, and time management skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
