The Hours, Roster & Location

• Monday - Thursday on a 4:3 or Monday - Friday role on a 5:2
• When trained up, enjoy the opportunity to start as early as 6.00am
• 10-hour days with a 30-minute lunch break
• Residential workshop … with lots of parking available

The Workshop

Reporting to the workshop leading hand and working closely with other tradespeople, you will enjoy working in a role that prepares brand new machines to head out to site. Duties will include;-

• Installing new equipment to machines (fire extinguishers etc)
• Additions to machines (site specific stickers, safety equipment)
• Testing and ensuring machines head out to site to match site criteria
• Machinery - UG drills, loaders and trucks
• 90% of the work will be clean, straight forward repetitive tasks, however you'll gain valuable mining machinery knowledge

Your Value

You will have come from a mechanical trade or trade assistant background with experience working in a mechanical workshop or on mechanical systems.

• Experience working with power tools
• Excellent attitude towards work and safety
• High attention to detail and quality of work
• Looking for a role that will offer good hours and earning potential
• Keen on securing a role that will be straight forward, and process driven
• Welding skills (highly regarded, not essential)
