An industry-leading maintenance contractor is expanding its Field Service team up in the Pilbara, supporting a major Rio Tinto mining operation.

This is a long-term FIFO role suited to Heavy Diesel Mechanics who enjoy autonomy, high-end tooling, and a strong, supportive team culture.

The Role:

This position blends hands-on field service work with autonomy across a busy open-cut mining environment. You'll be keeping critical mobile plant running, responding to breakdowns, and delivering high-quality maintenance work across the site.

• Diagnostics, breakdowns, and scheduled maintenance on heavy mobile mining fleets
• Hands-on with industry-leading diggers, trucks, dozers, graders and ancillary gear!
• Contribute to a high-performing, safety-first team
• Opportunities to upskill and step into senior or specialist positions over time

What You'll Need:

• Certificate III Mobile Plant Technology (or equivalent)
• RIO Tinto Inducted - highly desirable
• Experience with major mining OEMs (Liebherr, CAT, Hitachi, Komatsu) - Preferred
• Strong safety focus, proactive attitude, and ability to work independently
• Must pass a pre-employment medical and D&A screen
