• $75.00ph + super $3.00ph retention bonus (paid every 6 months)
• 5 weeks annual leave + 10 days sick leave

The Project & Roster

Located in central QLD within the Bowen Basin this large open cut coal mine site offers:

• Excellent training and development, including OEM training
• Lifestyle friendly 7 days on, 7 days off, 7 nights on, 7 days off (Wednesday-Tuesday)
• FIFO from Brisbane and Townsville & transport to site is provided
• Full camp set up with en suited rooms and recreational facilities including a gym
• Site located 20 minutes bus rid from the site

The Duties

Your must be minimum 1 year post trade with experience working on civil earthmoving plant or mining equipment which will position you to hit the ground running easily:

• Depending on your skills the role will be workshop, field service or both
• Working in a well-connected and experienced crew
• Machinery will include working on an extensive range of open cut CAT earthmoving equipment

Your Skills & Experience

Your minimum of 2+ years post trade experience working on civil earthmoving plant or mining equipment will put you in a great position to start on this site. You will also have the following

• Trade qualifications in a heavy diesel discipline
• CAT earthmoving equipment knowledge
• A strong desire to forward your skills in the mining industry
• An excellent attitude towards work and safety values
• Pasion for mechanics and forwarding your skills
• A team player and able to work autonomously
• Reliable and dedicated to the position
