This business has been delivering complex, high-quality projects across the education, health, aged care, civic, and commercial sectors for decades and maintains strong relationships with both government and private clients.

The Role

We're seeking a Senior Site Manager to lead the delivery of high-value commercial projects. You'll be overseeing all on-site operations, coordinating with stakeholders, and managing a team of site staff and subcontractors to ensure quality, safety, and program expectations are consistently met.

You'll work closely with the Project Manager and senior leadership, with the support of experienced Forepersons, Contract Administrators, and Site Engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Full-site responsibility from ground break to handover

• Coordinate trades, suppliers, and site staff to ensure delivery outcomes

• Maintain WHS compliance, site safety, and risk management protocols

• Drive project programs and adjust sequencing as needed

• Work closely with consultants, clients, and subcontractors

• Manage quality assurance, site documentation, and reporting

• Lead and mentor junior site team members

Typical Projects Include

• Multi-stage school redevelopments and specialist learning centres

• Regional and metro hospital upgrades and new-build clinics

• Modern aged care facilities and retirement living complexes

• Architecturally designed civic and community hubs

• Commercial, cultural, and government-funded infrastructure builds

About You

• 8+ years' experience in commercial construction, including in a Site Manager or Senior SM capacity

• Proven track record delivering builds of $10M+

• Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills

• Solid knowledge of South Australian building codes, WHS, and subcontractor management

• Trade background or construction management qualification preferred

• Experience with build software.
