Company Summary:

I've partnered exclusively with a well-loved, national with an excellent reputation in the market spanning over 15 years specialising in the commercial project market. My client has already had a successful start to 2025 and gearing up for a busy end to 2025, with work secured until 2028.

They operate across a range of delivering methods, with D&C being a big focus they are looking for someone with proven experience within the Commercial construction industry focusing on fit outs, refurbishments and small new builds up to $30-40m+.

With numerous repeated clients, strong pipeline of work for Queensland and further growth on the horizon, my client is looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to join their Brisbane team. Ideally this person will already be coming from a similar role with 7+ years' experience, or a Senior Project Manager who has been involved in the commercial and financial processes from start to finish.

Ideal traits the successful candidate will have:

• 7 + years of experience in the role.
• Leadership - enjoys mentoring and teaching others.
• Excellent ability to build rapport with others.
• Excellent Business Development skills.
• Strong past tenure with employers.
• Positive, "can-do" attitude.

With a strong pipeline of work already under construction and due to company growth, they are looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to join and lead the team their Brisbane office. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is an experienced leader, self-motivated, confident, honest, reliable, and looking to grow their career to step into this role.

Your Requirements:

• Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management & Economics, Quantity Surveying or equivalent are preferred
• Excellent communication & relationship building skills with various stakeholders (clients, architects, consultants, subcontractors etc.)
• Local experience and relationships with consultants and subcontractors
• Ideally 7-10 years + industry experience running your own projects between $500K - $40m+
• Structural experience is advantageous.
