The Roster & Hours
As a Field Service Technician, you will attend to duties both in the field and workshop. However, you'll spend most of your time on the road developing relationships at various working locations.
- Standard hours will be Monday to Friday 7am to 3.30pm (hours can be flexible)
- Travel time paid from the moment you leave you house to the job site (depending on the location of the work)
- 1 day off each month (hours made up during worked days)
- Some overtime available: paid at penalty rates, mornings, evenings and weekends
The role and machinery
In this role you will enjoy the opportunity to train and upskill to become experienced with an extensive range of different branded forklifts and access equipment with date to day duties as below
- Breakdowns, fault finding, diagnostics, problem solving
- Scheduled servicing & preventative maintenance
- Component change outs, scheduled maintenance, equipment/ technology upgrades
- Warranty work
- Autonomously managing jobs in the field
Your skills and experience
You will come from a trade qualification in diesel mechanics and have the following skills and attributes:
- Trade-qualified Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle Tech or Automotive
- Experience in materials handling (Advantageous)
- Strong problem-solving skills and autonomy
- Hydraulic and electrical diagnostics is a bonus (training available)
- Great attitude, reliable, and ready for a long-term opportunity
