I'm partnered with an exciting, up and coming Electrical Contractor who are looking to go through a period of growth.
We've had the opportunity to partner with a long standing Electrical Contractor who specialise in service / maintenance upgrades, EV Charging as well as the running of their own manufacturing arm with a focus on switchboards. Due to growth, they're looking to hire their first Estimator / BDM into the business and assist with the growth of current and new business opportunities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
· Review all client documentation and prepare a detailed estimate and tender
· Identify price competitive advantaged on tenders
· Assist in the preparation of project schedules in line with pricing elements
· Liaise and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors
· Participate in risk assessments for each project
· Work alongside senior management and lead tender handovers
· Participate in process reviews for tender opportunities
· Ensure compliance in the use of established estimating systems and processes
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will benefit from:
· Previous experience as an electrical estimator on medium to large contracts
· Electrical trade or equivalent experience/qualifications
