With a global footprint of large mining contracts, this well-known and reputable mining contractor supports a wide range of mining principals to meet their goals. This role is at an UG hardrock mine in N.QLD

The role and duties

You will enjoy working in a team of specialist tradespeople working on a wide range of UG mining equipment in the workshop and the field. Your duties will include;-

• 90% surface workshop maintenance duties - including problem solving, diagnostics, servicing, general repairs
• 10% field service breakdowns - including breakdowns, fault finding, diagnostics
• Machinery - drills, boggers, trucks, charge up equipment, IT's

Roster & hours

• 7 day shifts, 7 night shifts, 14 off - 12 hour shifts
• Fly to site on the morning of day 1, fly home after night shift on shift 14
• FIFO from Brisbane, Townsville

Your value

You will have come working as an Diesel Mechanic in a heavy industry sector and have a desire to forward your skills in the UG mining industry.

• Trade qualifications in heavy diesel
• Mining experience is highly desired
• Diesel machinery maintenance experience (heavy vehicles, civil, AG or mining)
• Team player and a great attitude towards work
