This is a well-known mining principal with a strong reputation for site culture and a long my life. Key site features include:

• Excellent camp and accommodation for FIFO and DIDO workers
• Underground hard rock mining operation in Northern QLD
• Facilities include gym, wet mess, and ensuite rooms

The Role
As an Auto Electrician, you'll be based in the site workshop with opportunities to transition underground once trained. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor and working as part of a close-knit crew, your duties will include:

• Servicing and preventative maintenance of both light vehicles and heavy equipment
• Electrical fault finding, diagnostics, and general repair work
• Component change-outs and breakdown response
• Working across a wide variety of fleet, including Toyota Land Cruisers, Sandvik loaders and drills, Normet charge rigs, Elphinstone Agis, and Simba's

Your Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Trade qualification as an Auto Electrician (or equivalent experience)
• Experience with heavy vehicles preferred
• Certificate II in Air Conditioning highly desirable
• Ability to work both in a team and unsupervised
• Willingness and ability to FIFO from Brisbane, Townsville, or Cairns
• Ability to complete a full mining medical and police check
• Strong safety values and commitment to compliance
