Project Manager Joinery

The Companies

The companies are established over time within the joinery trade. Each organisation expects a hectic workload of exciting projects post tax season. Asa consequence, we want to present the right candidate with the opportunity to settle into a new PM role prior to this busy period. As they are enticing roles, I would urge applications sooner rather than later.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of shopfitting/residential or and/or commercial projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, designers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project objectives are met within specified timelines and budgets
• Develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and address any issues or delays promptly
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Manage project budgets effectively, track expenses, and negotiate with suppliers to optimise costs while maintaining quality
• Lead and motivate project teams, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure successful project outcomes
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing progress reports, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all project personnel

Qualification

• Trade Qualification in Cabinet Making/Shopfitting or Joinery is essential
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in the Shopfitting Trade, minimum of 2 years experience
• Strong knowledge of shopfitting processes, materials, and techniques
• Proficient in project management software and tools
• Full working rights in Australia
