With the ever increasing population of Brisbane’s Northside, a tender has just gone to market for the construction of a new boutique retail, commercial and hospitality precinct.

Developers who have already expressed their interest in this $200m project include NLD Pty Ltd and Pointcorp Northlakes Development Pty Ltd.

Head Contractor quotes are due by 24th September and have already seen McNab and Broad Construction Services submitting tenders.

Wesley Henshaw from McNab said “Construction will consist of; basement car parking, five other separate buildings which includes hotel, food/beverage/function/entertainment, and retail and commercial spaces. Central to the development site is a landscaped outdoor area and swimming pool,” said Henshaw.

The Project comprises the following;

  • Approx 20,000m2 of total GFA
  • 5 level, 137 room hotel
  • Function facility
  • 2 levels of basement car parking
  • Private “high street”
  • Approx 1,000m2 of commercial space
  • Restaurants and bars
  • Approx 6,000m2 of retail space
  • Pool, central landscape area and health / fitness facilities

This is a well needed project that will provide a hub for young professionals and families who reside on the Northside to dine and shop close to home as opposed to joining the increasing traffic heading into Brisbane CBD.

The development is expected to be completed by late 2020
